SAGA’s new identity, based on the colour orange, reflects the combination of a long tradition with the commitment to innovation to develop the products for the world’s most demanding hunters and shooters.
Las Vegas (USA), January 23, 2018 – SAGA Cartridges will present its new brand image at the SHOT Show taking place in Las Vegas (Nevada, USA) from January 23rd to 26th. SHOT Show is the most important hunting and shooting fair in North America. SAGA has chosen orange as the predominant colour of its new visual identity because of its association with safety in hunting safety innovation within the world of shooting. In addition, the logo has been renewed with a more modern version of its beloved DIANA Hunter symbol.
SAGA will exhibit during the event the new slogan Connect With Your Target under the new logo, with which it aims to reinforce its proximity to hunters and shooters and, at the same time, highlight the capacity of its cartridges so that consumers connect with their prey and clay. At the same time, SAGA has launched a new website with an innovative design in line with the new image. This platform optimises the user experience and is compatible with all mobile devices.
SAGA has also simplified its product lines by grouping them into categories according to their range and size, clearly differentiated by the colour of the packaging. Our goal is to make the cartridges more recognisable and that each hunter or shooter can easily identify the SAGA cartridge that best suits their specific needs. For this purpose, the packaging of the cartridges has been redesigned according to the comments of shooters and hunters, including in the boxes the most relevant information for the consumers.
“SAGA has experienced an important change since its origins almost 70 years ago in a small gun shop in Lérida where the cartridges were loaded manually to its current position as a global leader with presence in more than 50 countries in five continents. The new brand image aims to reflect this evolution, being faithful to our more traditional origins, but also to our commitment to innovation to incorporate the most advanced production techniques in order to respond to increasingly demanding consumers ” , explains Germán Morales, General Director of the company.
The presentation of the new brand image will take place during the SHOT Show that annually gathers more than 65,000 visitors, making it the sector’s fair with the greatest affluence in the USA. SAGA has a booth in the Spanish pavilion, organised by the Armera Association, in which, in addition to its new visual identity, it exhibits its wide range of cartridges for shooting and hunting.
